Óðinn Yngvason was born & raised in the picturesque Westman Islands, located on the south coast of Iceland. He has a strong connection to the ocean, mountains and lavafields. He is a talented landscape photographer but is mostly known for his work with photographing professional models in epic nature settings.
During the darker months in Iceland, he turns his eye towards the sky and captures the sheer beauty of the Aurora Borealis. He uses a Nikon camera, Sigma lenses and Kase filters for digital photography. He has also developed skills and a big interest in shooting film, mostly in medium format.
